Jocelyn's Journey

Donation protected
Last Saturday, Jocelyn was preparing to start her 6th softball season. Suddenly, the following Wednesday, Jillian heard a doctor say 3 words you never think you will have to hear: "Jocelyn has leukemia." 4 days. In a matter of only 4 days, a family's life has been turned completely upside-down.

As of right now, Jocelyn's team of doctors has told Jill to expect Jocelyn to receive treatment for the next 2 years. Jocelyn will remain inpatient for the next month so that her doctors can monitor her closely and ensure that her heart and other organs can withstand the strain that chemotherapy will put on her body. Once she is discharged, Jocelyn will need to continue her treatments via outpatient care likely 3 days a week.

Aside from the obvious exhaustion and emotional strain this has put on Jill and her family, we know this will cause a great financial strain as well. We want Jill to be able to focus on taking care of Jocelyn, Julia and Jack, as well as taking care of herself, without the worry of the financial burden that these next 2 years will bring. All funds raised will go directly to Jill to help her cover the cost of Jocelyn's care as well as the suddenly increased cost of living that comes with cancer and getting to and from Boston as often as she needs to.

We will try to keep everyone updated as best as we can and we appreciate all who have joined "Jocey's Posse" in support of #JocelynsJourney to beat leukemia! Your love and support mean so much to Jill and her family!
