At the height of the pandemic, Annie

answered the call and became a statistic

of healthcare workers who contracted

COVID. In her case, the long term effects

of COVID affected her beyond the disease

itself. Due to a technicality, she was denied of worker’s compensation. Things have

not improved since then (COVID was just

the beginning of this tale). In addition,

Annie got high risk pregnancy (age and frail health) and lost her one and only miracle

baby supposed to be and almost die as

well. Annie is been in and out of the

hospital. At this point, she is beat down and very tired, physically, emotionally,

financially trying recover and absorb

everything on one blow. So, I come today,

hat in hand, asking for aid for a hero of our community. Please help to show that she is remembered, appreciated and loved.
