Medical, After Care and Family Support
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Corina Freeman. I am trying to raise a little money to help take the stress off of my fiance and his family during this hard time. Any positive thoughts/prayers are very much appreciated.
On Father's Day Jeff had a severe stroke and was taken by ambulance to St. Cats in Kenosha where they found multiple blood clots in his brain. He was then transported by helicopter to Milwaukee for extensive care. Yesterday morning he had emergency brain surgery due to swelling in his brain and has since been on a ventilator to help. Unfortunately, as of right now we do not know much about what he will physically be able to do as he wakes up and begins his healing. With where the stroke was, the nurse said there is a chance that he will not be able to walk again. Since then he has opened his eyes a couple of times, wiggled his toes and moved his arm, which are all positive signs. He has a very long road ahead of him. Anyone that knows Jeff knows how caring and strong of a man he is. He would take the shirt off his back for anyone in need. This has all been such a hard time for his family and I would love to be able to help in anyway that I can. Unfortunately, the hospital does not allow guests to stay overnight, so his daughter, son, sisters and mother have had to drive an hour each way each day which of course adds more stress with the gas prices today.
If you would like to donate anything will help and all proceeds will go to gas expenses, any medical expenses, after care and home care that will be needed when the time comes. If you cannot donate anything, a prayer is so appreciated.
I truly believe Jeff will get through this and that we all need to stay positive and hold our loved ones close. ❤️
We love you Grandpa, keep fighting! ❤️
