Please read my story

The Person who played the character
“Super ColeTrain” in the video game
“Gears Of War” , owned by  Microsoft,
worked for me as a Wrestler
in my wrestling Organization, Soul City
Wrestling and the courts are telling me that
the 1st Amendment protects his right and
Microsoft’s Right to use my likeness without any consideration to me.

My name is Lenwood (Skip) Hamilton.

I am the Plaintiff in a Case  that is being
considered to be heard in front of the
Supreme Court of the United States
(SCOTUS) Hamilton Vs. Microsoft, Epic Games, Lester Speight And the Coalition.
Case NO: 20-1123.

I have been forced to engage in a lengthy and bankrupting legal battle with Microsoft for
over 5 years now. My case involves the
stealing of my identity in Microsoft’s Video
Game Gears Of War (GOW).

A brief biography, I was an NFL Player
(Philadelphia Eagles) and I started my own
African American Owned professional
Wrestling Organization in the Philadelphia
area. One of my wrestlers went on to become the main character in GOW, “Super Cole
Train” who, sadly, went on to use my persona without my permission.

My case has become a pitched battle over the protections granted by the first amendment. The case is in front of the Supreme Court Of The United States (SCOTUS) (via Petition for Writ of Certiorari). Microsoft admits that
they stole my identity, but they claim that
they have tweaked and changed it enough
and that the constitution’s first amendment
protects them as they steal and bankrupt a
very hard working African-American Man. A Man
who has known nothing but hardship in his
entire life.

In addition to hopefully having the SCOTUS
clarify who and how the 1st Amendment
truly protects, this case puts on vivid display Microsoft’s Hypocrisy.

Microsoft has embarked upon an extensive effort to show the world that they care about
African Americans and the African American Community.

Sadly, the treatment of me and my community by Microsoft has been nothing short of thuggish and overwhelmingly cruel!

This case has been extremely taxing financially and emotionally. Having to fund the
Supreme Court fight has literally broke me.
Having to put every penny I can find towards the Supreme Court has literally bankrupted me.

I was evicted on 03-19-2021. I am currently staying in temporary housing at a very costly
$100 per night.

I am asking for any help I can get. If you can
help me financially or in any other way so I can obtain permanent housing, I thank you!

If you can help me expose the hypocrisy of
Microsoft towards me and the Black Community, please help me!

sincerely,

Lenwood “Skip” Hamilton

Lenwood Hamilton is amazed he still is alive at age 61. He survived tremendous physical and mental abuse by the age of eight. He wears the emotional scars of not being wanted by his
closest family members. He's escaped
near-death incidents as a youngster and as an adult. He was sexually violated in a group home by a boy twice his age. His glory years in high school were at an almost all-white middle class school where he was one of two African-American athletes, leading to bouts of racism. Academic deficiencies and an inability to harness his good times off the field spoiled a promising football career at North Carolina State, where he was on scholarship. He's coped with the disappointment of coming so close to reaching his dream of playing in the National Football League. He has seen teammates and friends who achieved more than he did pass away at a young age, some from the effects of playing pro football. More than anything, Hamilton believes others can benefit from his experiences, especially youngsters who may be facing similar crises alone.

Hamilton founded Soul City Wrestling and Soul City Mentoring. Due to the fact he did not play  professional football long enough to financially be able to help children, Hamilton helps
children by putting on friendly family oriented wrestling shows and through Soul City Mentoring.

These are the reasons why I have taken on this fight against Epic Games and Microsoft for taking my Identity, Hard Rock Hamilton, “The Defender of the Youth” and applying it to a vile and violent character in the video game “Gears of War”.

the case is currently in front of the Supreme Court. I am asking for financial help to continue the legal fight and achieve justice for all the children that can be reached and helped, just like the way I wish I could have been helped when I was a child.

Please help me!

Sincerely,

Hard Rock Hamilton:
“Defender of the Youth”
