Clementine is my 4 yo baby girl who turns 5 in August. She is such a caring soul. Clementine always takes care of me and her big brother. Whether it’s giving Lucifer his baths or attempting to lick my wounds! She has always been in perfect health, that is until recently.
The vet is not entirely sure what is wrong, but they think something is blocking her kidneys, liver, or even her gallbladder. This has resulted in her rapidly losing weight, not drinking as much water, becoming fatigue, and even developing jaundice. The vet wants her to have an ultrasound to see where the blockage is. They said depending on the results the problem could be resolved through surgery or even something as simple as antibiotics. I am a single, low income person that lives paycheck to paycheck, which makes it hard to save for situations like this. Her vet appointment which included lab work and medications that they classify as “Band-Aid treatments”, has already cost over $800. It would be terrible for Clementine’s life to end simply because I don’t have the money to even figure out what could be wrong. with her.
