My brother-in-law and sister are facing a difficult and uncertain time right now. My brother-in-law is facing an unexpected spinal surgery to repair nerve damage. He will be having surgery within days and will be facing up to 12 weeks or more off of work.

They're already collecting medical bills from all the testing, and the surgery hasn't even happened yet.
