Our Little Family

As many of you Julie and I had our first born June 1 2017 Gwenevere Love Lindstrom. She was perfectly healthy and a blessing. Julie on the other hand has had a traumatizing experience. After a cesarean birth Julie developed an infection (Necrotizing Fasciitis) a life threatening flesh eating bacteria. She underwent 2 other surgeries post c-section. The infection was removed and the tissue it had already killed. After a 9 day hospital stay we were sent home. The incision from the operation was left open with a wound vac system to help the healing process and help prevent infection. After our first weekend as a happy family we had our first in home nurse visit today to have Julie's wound vac dressing changed. While the nurse was changing the wound vac Julie's incision started to bleed profusely. The nurse could not stop the bleeding. Julie was taking to the closet hospital for assessment of the situation. She is now being transported back to the hospital in Plymouth to have the surgeons who originally worked on Julie go in for a third surgery. She has been out of work for over 3 weeks and myself coming up on 3 weeks. Both unpaid. We are both still out of work for an unknown amount of time. I don't like asking for help but I am asking now. If you could help us we would be forever grateful
