November 30th, 2014 changed my step-sons life. On his way home that night his left rear tire blew causing him to lose control. He fought it, but to no avail sliding 30 feet upside down and landing in the ditch partially injecting him from the car. He was airlifted to HCMC where it was later determined he suffered a traumatic neck injury.
He spent months in intensive care, rehabilitation and intensive therapy. Yet through it all, James has amazed all of us with his positive attitude. At 25, he remains extremely positive even though he is now faced with spending his days in a wheelchair.
An avid outdoorsman James spent little time idle, spending his time hunting and fishing with family and friends.
Our goal, as his family is to get him through this difficult time with love and support, but because of his circumstances his medical bills and every day needs are surmountable.
From all of us thank you for your kindness and support
The Valentin Family
