At a time in her life when she really could have used a lucky break, Jasmine swerved off the road to avoid hitting a deer and rolled the vehicle that a generous friend had loaned her. Because her phone was thrown from the vehicle, she was then forced to rescue herself, despite her punctured lung and badly damaged collarbone. Jasmine ended up walking 10 miles to find help, because the three vehicles that passed her on the road refused to stop or to even dial 911 for her. Her medical bills are now overwhelming, and she needs a vehicle so that she can get to work.
