Hi, my name is Isabel Garcia & I would like to tell you about my strong and brave father who was always there to give me & my younger brother & sisters hugs and always have a conversation with us about problems with school or just talk in general. It was like any other morning for us when my father would wake me and my siblings up for school. But this day will be a day we’ll never forget. It was a terrifying morning & happened so fast. My father went into cardiac arrest and fell onto the floor right in front of me and my siblings. We yelled for my mother to come as she started to do CPR & yelling for us to call 911. He was rushed to the nearest hospital and has been in the ICU since September 7 he was then placed into sedation due to some swelling in his brain. His blood pressure has been going up and down. He gets fevers that go high and after a while, it goes under control, then the fever goes back up again and when he gets these fevers it's like a roller coaster. He had an EEG test to measure the electric activity of his brain but then we got told that he needed to have another one due to compilation with the test being inaccurate from the first one so, they needed to do a 24-hour EEG test on him & sedate him again for 4th time. Every day my mother drives herself from the hospital back home to drop me and my siblings off at school & goes back to the hospital to sit next to my father. When she is there she talks to him and cries. Then she picks us up and drives us to the hospital to spend time with him. I know she is trying her best to be strong for us as she knows that bills are piling up. I always hear her calling family members and asking for money for gas so she can go to the hospital & back home. I decided to do this to help create less stress for my mother. So I'm seeking compassion & support from whoever reads this and can donate and share this with family & friends & also pray for my father Salvador Garcia.
