Louis F. Giorno was a dedicated educator, mentor, and disciplinarian in the Philadelphia School District for over 35 years. He was a master teacher of music and science. He touched many, many lives.

My family and I are hoping to raise money for a Memorial Scholarship for two elementary schools; The JS Jenks School, where he spent most of his career and Oldmans Township School, where I currently am an educator.

Each $100.00 scholarship would go to an eighth grader that best exemplifies his motto, "Always do your best, but make YOUR best better than the rest!"

Extra money will go to a special fund for some type of dedication at the JS Jenks School.
