Adam's Recovery

Donation protected
Hello all! I'm Adam's sister, and I want to share with you his journey. He gave me permission a few weeks ago to do this, but it's been a struggle to put words to it! I have been so worried that I would lose my big brother, my first best friend. Adam has struggled with a severe case of pancreatitis, which landed him in 2 hospitals for over 2 months. He is now in a rehab facility, aka a nursing home. I will be taking him back to OHSU on Monday for (let's pray that it's his final) surgery to remove ports that have supported his recovery. I could go into the gory details, but I'd rather just say that this amazing father of 3, husband, coach, teacher, brother, son (& sometimes butthead) will be dealing with exorbitant medical bills when he is finally fully recovered. We are thankful that he was able to re-enter life in time for Hannah's graduation! I just want him to not worry too much about the increasing debt. If we reach $100, we will feel lucky. If we reach $200, we will feel blessed. If Adam has made a positive impact in your life or that of your child's life, and you can contribute, you will become a part of his recovery forever and truly loved by our family! I have contributed to a couple of these, but never imagined I would be asking. Thank you for your consideration!
