Mom's Comfort And Support

My mother Barbara Crotts came into the hospital on Tuesday, May 30th for difficulty breathing. The next day she was supposed to be released, but ended up needing to be intubated. We were told she would not be able to breathe on her own and to consider her quality of life and comfort. Then we had a miracle and she was recovering well. They were going to move her out of ICU and into a regular room. We were all very happy and I even went back to work. They tried giving her some soft/liquid food and shortly after she went down hill yet again. Mom is afraid when left alone and my stepdad and I have been by her side. I hate to have to do this, but I am asking for help because I am out of paid leave at work. I want to be by her side but am now facing a financial hardship. We are hoping the state will help out with her medical bills, but any extra funds will go toward those bills and anything mom may need to get better. I thank you in advance .
