I allowed Lyv to visit her dad in CA before filing a custody order through the state of MN. Too many moms keep their children from their fathers, and I wanted to do what was best for my daughter. Her dad continued to ask, and didn't want to wait for a custody order. We agreed to a time frame of 3.5 months. He came and picked her up on 1/23/2016. On January 22nd he filed a custody order in the state of CA. I was served on 2/29/2016 & given 30 days to respond. The court date is set for April, however since the case was filed in CA it's stated that the child may not be removed from the state until a final decision has been made.
I have already hired an attorney and plan to start the process on 3/18/2016. My retainer is $5000 and my filing fee $405. Not to mention the fee to have him served in CA as well as the plane tickets to get there & bring Alyvia home. I was able to loan this amount. Paying it back will be difficult being a single mother paying daycare for two, that's why I'm asking for your help.
My little boy misses his sister. And every time we FaceTime with her she asks for her brother. Her little voice saying "Miss you Mommy" breaks my heart. But nothing compares to her crying & saying "No bye bye" when it's time to hang up.
These little ones have no idea what is happening or why they're being kept apart. Help me get Elijah's sister back. Help me bring Alyvia home.
