Single mom stuck in a rut!

Here is a story about the last 6 weeks... my business has been affected and I am stuck in the US when I live in El Salvador.

On March 2nd a friend of mine called to tell me his brother took his life, the night before. He wanted me to fly in. I think he finds comfort knowing that I lost my brother previously so I might know the steps to take. (I didn't know his brother).  I told him I would be there in a heart beat if he bought me and my son tickets as we didn't have the money. So, he did. We flew in the next day.

The day after we arrived, the President or El Salvador announced that only residents and citizens were allowed to enter the country, but would have to go straight to a quarantine room for 30 days and that this would be in effect for 21 days.. My first thought was "No problem! I can teach yoga to the people in quarantine to light the situation".. Over the next few days, I saw videos of the big room with bunk beds and the conditions. Limited water,  only eggs, cheese and tamales to eat.
I drink tons of water on the daily so I knew, in that moment, it would not work.
ALL of my Airbnb reservations Canceled at the same time.
A couple of days go by and the borders close completely.  I skipped my flight. Then, the President quarantined everyone to their houses (which keeps getting extended). Which means no yoga classes if I had returned.
Time for Plan B.- The friend who flew us in owns a labor service. He got a call and a company needed 49 people to go to Sacramento,  CA to clean office buildings sanitizing them for a month.

I, immediately,  volunteered to go! I called my dad who lives in Texas and asked if he could watch my son for a month. He said sure. So, my friend handed me the keys to his late brother's truck and said you go now, so you can stop in Texas and drop your son off on your way. A bus is leaving at 5:30 am from New Orleans with the rest of the workers.

Cool! I drove to Texas. I wrote him when I got there and asked for more direction ie: name of hotel and date and time the bus would arrive.

He sent me a guys name and number to contact in the am.

I called the guy at 8 am, explained who I was. The guy said, I know nothing of you, we were short one person on the bus this morning so we called someone and filled the positon....! What!? Lol.

All of a sudden,  just like that! I got stuck in Arlington, Tx.

Rewind... When I moved to El Salvador 9 years ago, I had recently experienced my brother's death. Freak auto accident. He was hit head on by an eighteen wheeler that was driving 80 miles an hour on the highway. I ran! I am a runner! I moved out of our house in California, moved back to Austin, Tx. Then, I took off to Europe for a month and spread my brother's ashes all over the place. I had promised a trip to Europe to my brother and felt so guilty that it didn't happen before his accident, so I took his best friend as soon as I could.

Fast forward... back to the now..
Why am I here, I ask the universe?

I think I am here to deal with what I ran from. My brother's death...

I got online and applied for job after job. I have no money and got stuck in another country..

I ordered a pizza for us and asked, while on the phone, if they were hiring. I went in, filled out an application and got a job.
I'm on week 3 of delivering pizzas. Lol! Working with a bunch of high school kids at 38. These are the cards life dealt me. Gotta make it work!

I'm thankful that I am stuck in the US and not quarantined in my house with no money or income.

I'm thankful that I have my friend's late brother's truck or I wouldn't be able to work.

We have to count our blessings. There are so many reasons to be grateful.

The storms have been scarce over the last couple of years, so I have not received much adjuster work.

I'm a single parent with no help or child support from the father. I need to make sure I can put food on the plate formed my 3 year old son and clothes on our backs. We only came with 6 days worth of clothes.
I, also, need to replace a roof, at home which would cost around $4k.

I am hoping that this Go Fund Me works.

You can use the down payment for a yoga retreat.
I can offer accommodations and tours in El Salvador to anyone who wishes to visit in the future in exchange.. (flight not included)

I have a rad place with a yoga studio in a small beach town with great waves for surfing, waterfalls, volcanos and all kinds of other magical places within driving distance.

I have never put myself or my story out there like this...

I got a job delivering pizzas, but it is not enough.

It would mean so much to me and my son if anyone could help. His name is Esteban, by the way.
