Help Fix Bella’s Leg

Meet Bella, an extremely shy but lovable kitty who spends most of her time playing or lounging around just enjoying life. When she’s not doing those things she bothering her brother Cocoa or cuddling with her momma, Miranda. Miranda absolutely adores the crap out of Bella but it goes further than that. Bella is legally Miranda’s emotional support animal. That’s why this Go Fund Me is heartbreaking.

 

Bella recently had an accident while doing normal cat things. She jumped from a table and unfortunately, landed wrong, breaking her hind leg in three places. Luckily, her mother was home when this happened. Miranda immediately rushed her baby to the vet worried sick for the worst. Sure enough, bad news was on its way. The Vet could only do so much due to the severity of the breaks. Surgery is needed for the bones to set back in place normally. If the bones heal otherwise, it could mean that Bella will lose the ability to walk or jump (normal cat things).

 

Recently, Miranda has had her share of hardship as well. She was laid off from her previous job and has been working extremely hard to keep a roof over her head and food in her and her babies bellies. She spends most of her daytime hours job hunting and interviewing for positions. At night she works at a local sports bar when they have available spots open. She is constantly moving, working, and planning the best that she can to stay ahead.

 

With this accident she has had to rearrange her life to help accommodate Bella. She’s relying on others to assist in taking care of Bella so she can continue to try and provide as best she can. However, she also now faces a daunting goal. Miranda has been told that the surgery required to fix Bella’s leg will roughly cost around $4,000.00.

 

I would never wish what Miranda is going through on anyone. It’s upsetting to watch someone suffer because they fear they cannot help the ones they love. It’s a feeling of helplessness.

 

That is why I created this Go Fund Me. So maybe we can all pitch in to help relieve some of the burden for Miranda and help get Bella back into prime time kitty shape.
