Walter A Weidtman 219 Memorial Fund

I am one the many people Wally's life impacted, my name is Mike Zacharia (a life long friend) I'm working with Seaford High School to provide a college scholarship (paid directly to the University Bursar) to the graduating high school student that best gives back to their community, much like Wally did with the Wantagh Fire dept, coaching Lindenhurst football, and being on the fathers guild at St Anthony's. This honor would be in Walters name, the 219 represents his proud ranking in the class of 1984, GPA has no impact on this award.The goal is to raise enough to start in Seaford, and ultimately if funds permit to share with Lindenhurst and St Anthony's.As I'm not a Facebook member, your donation and spreading of this link will aid in the beginning goal of raising $10,000.
