My name is Brooke Winegeart. I am asking for help for Mr. Richard Meredith and family to assist with food and lodging while he under goes surgery at MD Anderson. Mr. Richard was diagnosed with stomach cancer in January of 2024 and has been doing immunotherapy since his diagnosis. He is now scheduled to have a portion of his stomach removed on July 2. His family was told to be prepared to be in Houston for approximately 3-4 weeks. Mr. Richard holds a special place in my heart. Every morning he and my dad would meet up at Alkies and drink coffee together. On my way to work I would always go by visit them, get my hugs, and start my day! I sure miss those days. If you are able please help relieve this financial burden off of this family so they can focus on recovery and fighting the C word that I despise with everything in me! Thank you❤️
