My name is Deana Uppal, I am the founder of an Indian based charity - DKU Kindness Diaries Trust.
Kindness Diaries Trust has been running for over 1.5 year. In this short space of time we have set up a office in Jaipur with a strong team of volunteers. We distribute food to hundreds of homeless families, provide educational camps for the children, do various distributions such as clothing, toys, educational kits and medical supplies. During the past few months Covid hit India hard. Kindness Diaries purchased a large number of oxygen machines and ppe kits, we shipped these out to India and gave the oxygen to serious Covid patients that could not get a hospital bed - saving many lives.
I strongly believe the way to help people is to try to help them to become independent and able to provide for them selfs. My mission for the charity this year is to provide full time education to children that normally would not be able to afford to go to school. The Kindness Diaries Team will select children that eagerly want to study, and their parents will also commit to letting the child study. Kindness Diaries Team will bare the full cost of the school fees, school clothing, educational items and travel to and from school. We will monitor the Childs progress and give them extra support for how to mix with the other children
The more support and donations we receive, the more children we can help. If you would like to help in this cause, please make a donation - no matter how large or small every little will help. In return our team will keep you fully updated on who we are sponsoring and their progress.
