Aoibheanns Pink Tie

Hi my name is Jason Kidney im a firefighter in Bandon Fire & Rescue Service Co Cork. Im setting out to complete a charity cycle in aid of Aoibheann's Pink Tie, which is a charity that hepls families who are fighting through Childhood Cancer. Last year i took part in the first cycle which included 60 Irish firefighters and 45 New York firefighters and we cycled from Phoenix Park in Dublin to Kinsale in Cork. We managed to raise in excess of 215,000 euros to split between 2 amazing charities. The American charity is Friends of Firefighters which is a counselling service that was set up to help families and friends of Firefighters who lost their lives in the terrible attacks on 9/11 343 FDNY firefighter lost their lives that day.
