Our Glastonbury CT Charlie Kirk vigil (Sun, Sept 21 at 12:30 PM at the Fountain Green) is designed to be a non-political event that is focused on themes such as peace, unity, American values and civil liberties like freedom of speech, expression and assembly.

For the amount of people that we are expecting, the Glastonbury Police Department recommends 4 officers with cruisers, each at $109/hour, for 4 hours. The 5th officer is a supervisor at $154/hour, also for 4 hours.

Therefore, we need to raise $2,360 total to ensure enough police presence to secure the safety of all.
