"It's cancer." On January 15, 2019, what started as a routine mammogram, quickly turned into a shocking breast cancer diagnosis. Triple positive, invasive ductal carcinoma. Since her diagnosis she and Leandro have been driving to the hospital, spending many hours each day with doctors and surgeons for consultations and various tests. She has a long road of treatment ahead of her, chemotherapy, mastectomy, radiation, and reconstructive surgery, but is staying positive and motivated to win this battle. Let's help Vanessa recover!
