I Am Will Magic: An entrepreneur, Writer, Entertainer, and Creator of Original Music.
In normal times, finding a venue to perform or sell Original Music is not always easy. Supporting Original Music artists is even more critical now.
The COVID-19 outbreak has brought the global concert and local "gig" business to a standstill, causing hundreds of millions of dollars in ticket-sales losses, billions in falling music-industry stock prices and generating an unprecedented level of financial anxiety for artists, event organizers and other behind-the-scenes workers who rely on live events to make ends meet.
While mainstream artists of "Popular" music are experiencing a financial strain, the strain is ALWAYS there for artists that channel their creativity towards giving a voice to the thoughts and emotions many people feel but are not able to express musically. Keeping the lights on for "one more" all-nighter could have been the difference that allowed the world to be graced with songs like: "Cat's in the Cradle," "American Pie," or "Lean on Me."
Original Music Entertainers, by nature, resist the "Cookie Cutter Formula" approach to writing songs and risk exposing their very hearts and souls, to tell their personal stories, that also resonate with similar "feelings" within many of us. Our brutal honesty and commitment to tirelessly working to present authentic emotions allow us to create songs that "will never grow old and stay deep in the souls" of those that hear them.
My goal is to help replace lost income from the industry shutdown, AND 50% of ALL funds received will go to HIRE musicians, AT A FAIR WAGE, for performances of, mostly, Original Music once the nightlife scene returns. I believe words that; Heal, Inspire, Uplift, Encourage, Console, Celebrate,.. etc., are "Words, The World Wanted To Hear." Your support will allow me to help make that happen.
