Help Miranda

My name is Nora Nordling, and I am creating this fundraiser to help our family friend! Miranda Wayne had a cardiac arrest Tuesday February 27th, 2024; she was inpatient at Fairview University of Minnesota. She had come into the ER on Sunday the 25th for some severe abdominal pain. On Monday she had a heart Cath to check the function of her heart and had a cardiac arrest during the procedure; again another cardiac arrest on Tuesday night and was placed on ECMO. She is currently in the CVICU at the University of Minnesota on the adult side as they work through what happened. They are determining whether she's going through rejection of her transplanted heart and how to treat it. The ECMO is giving her heart and body a rest that it needs to recover.

Miranda and her sister Tess just recently moved out of the house and got themselves a very cute little two-bedroom apartment in Blaine. Now that Miranda is in the hospital, her family wants to make sure that the girls don't lose their cute new place.

For those that don't know Miranda had a heart transplant in June of 2018 after going through heart failure. It was a successful transplant, and she has not had any issues at all during these past 5.5 years. We will definitely keep you all updated as her situation as things progress.
