Nancy Ingalls
Hello everyone! Thank you for taking the time to read this page. Nancy is my neighbor, and we actually share a driveway! My heart broke when I heard what had happened, and I wish to do the best I can to help this family out.
On December 8, 2015, at 3:00am, Maple Lake Road, Butler, NJ: the home of Nancy Ingalls, 66, became engulfed in flames, alerting Butler, Kinnelon, Pompton Lakes, and Bloomingdale Fire Departments to the scene. The House had flames stuffing the walls and pushing through the windows and doors. Nancy and her son, Matt, and Ellie, their 13-year-old Husky escaped the house in time; unfortunetaly, their cat still remains missing. Matt was airlifted to the hospital with severe burns on his body and remains in critical condition. Their house remains scourched and unlivable, and Nancy, Matt, and Ellie are now faced with no home and only the clothes on their backs.
Especially during the holidays, events like this surely remind us how gifted and priviledged we are, and how unexpectedly things like this can happen. This is truly heartbreaking; I have known Nancy for more than 10 years, and she is one of the most kind, hard-working people I have had the pleasure of knowing.
It is understandable if you are unable to make a donation, but if possible, please donate to Nancy and her family. Also, if anyone has anything else (Such as clothes, food, etc.) that could possibly help Nancy out at this time, please feel free to message me, and I can give you my address! I will be giving all the proceeds directly to Nancy, hopefully before the holidays end. She is also left with hefty medical bills!
