Hi, my name is Tiarah, and I’m fundraising to help cover urgent medical expenses as I prepare for a second major surgery to remove a tumor from my femur.

At the start of this year, I was diagnosed with transient osteoporosis. Despite treatments, things continued to get worse. In June, I underwent my first surgery, hoping it would finally bring relief — but instead, the pain increased and imaging showed the tumor had actually grown. After a biopsy, my doctors determined it is either an osteoid osteoma or an osteoblastoma, and because of its size, I now need another extensive surgery to remove the tumor, place plates, and graft my femur.

This has been physically, emotionally, and financially overwhelming. I lost my job due to my medical condition and with it my health insurance. My medical bills have already reached over $10,000, and my upcoming surgery on December 11th will be entirely out of pocket. I’m trying to raise $15,000 to help cover these existing bills and part of the urgent surgery I need to recover and return to my normal life.

I’m a wife and a mom to a sweet two-year-old who I dream of running, playing, and exploring the world with again. I also hope to return to my love of baking and continue my journey toward building a home bakery — something this medical battle has put on hold.
