A simple life can be reduced to ash within minutes and a town within days. The town of Paradise, Ca has been devestated by fire. This is the very place my family has lived for a long time. My mother and father, my sister and niece and my brothers have all lost their homes in this disaster. Not to mention the 26k other individuals that have fled to nearby cities. CalFire Agency has done a tremendous job in evacuations. Unfortunately, about 90% of Paradise has been destroyed, with loss of life.  My family has roots in nearby Chico, Ca, where they have safely evacuated to. All of them in different locations.  Rebuilding will not be easy, nor is it something one plans for. My family has lost everything. Homes, vehicles, clothes, heirlooms and sentimental tokens. Most of which can be replaced. Some, unfortunatley lost forever. I am asking for an outreach of support on behalf of my Mother and Father, Nancy Sloan and Ronald Sloan. My sister Andrea Acosta and her daughter Kristen Acosta. My two brothers, Ronnie Sloan and Keith Sloan. All residents of Paradise, Ca. They evacuted within a short window of opportunity, thankfully unharmed, but did so with the very clothes on their backs, their pets and some miscellaneous knick knacks.
