Axel and his family

Hi my name is Krystle and I’m fundraising for one of my sons best friends Axel. Axel is the most adorable little boy who brings light to the room with his contagious smile and endless energy.

Yesterday Wednesday, May 31 Axel was hit by a negligent driver on a school field trip to the park in Pollock Pines Ca. Him and four other classmates were hit in a crosswalk when the driver failed to stop or even brake when they were crossing the street. Axel has very similar injuries as his good friend Jacory who was walking next to him.

Axel has suffered a broken femur, fractured skull and bruised liver. This morning Axel had surgery where six screws and a plate were placed in his femur. His surgery's went well and he is doing well although he will have a long road to recovery as he will be on bed rest for the next eight weeks and have surgery again 6-9 months to remove the screws. His parents have been by his side and will continue to do so through his recovery so funds would be so appreciated to help cover income loss as well as medical bills.
