Dear Friends and Family,

As all of you know, I have a lovely daughter, Kyra, 14, who is a beautiful ballet dancer. She is passionate for dancing and is currently a member of the Long Beach Ballet junior company.

As many of you also know, I have been going through a very difficult divorce. Money is tight to say the least.

Kyra is advancing rapidly and will have several opportunities to study ballet at various prestigious companies, including Houston Ballet, Ballet West, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and the San Francisco Ballet. Unfortunately, all of these are very expensive programs, requiring travel and lodging, and are way out of reach for this single mom.

I would not ask for help for myself, and it is difficult to write this, but I feel I must try every resource available to help my amazing young girl (not that I'm biased. ;D ).

I know that there are many things to spend your money on, but rest assured that Kyra is a good investment and will make us all proud.
