Help our puppy with emergency surgery

Hi! My name is Ethan Mann and my dog Whiskey needs help! Whiskey is a Great Pyrenees Husky mix and he is the most calm and loving dog I have ever had. My friends and I found Whiskey one day at a gas station is Tuscaloosa, AL in a box that a lady was carrying. She told me she could not take care of him anymore I rescued him at less than 2 months old. Whiskey has lived with me since. Whiskey has been a loyal companion and my best friend since I rescued him. Recently over thanksgiving break, he suddenly stopped eating. I decided to take him to the vet today because this is very odd for him considering he is a big dog for an 8 month old puppy. The vet did and x-ray and found something lodged between his stomach and his intestine. They are doing emergency surgery in a few hours, but the vet said if I did not bring him in today that he would have died. I found out the surgery also cost $8,000 and I am a a Junior in college so I can not afford it. Anything you give will help and I would appreciate if you would keep my puppy in your thoughts and prayers.
