Cedric's Brain Surgery Recovery Fund
Donation protected
On May 29th, 2017 I refused to allow another emergency room to turn me away, as I knew that something needed to be done about my wonderful son Cedric. Over the past month he has been on a steady decline starting with irritability and nausea, and finally with inability to focus, lack of appetite, and lack of coordination with his right side. I assumed the worst and insisted on an MRI. I never expected my greatest fear to come true. Takoda and I learned on May 30, 2017 that our perfect boy has a 6cm by 3cm tumour in the left ventricle of his brain. Thankfully we brought him into Children's Hospital in Vancouver just to be safe, so we are in the best possible hands. Cedric will be going in for an operation on Friday June 2nd, 2017 to remove as much of the tumour as possible. Following his operation the neurosurgery team will be doing a pathology to determine whether it is benign or cancerous. Unfortunately this leaves both Takoda and I off of work for an indefinite amount of time. Our day to day life already consisted of scraping by paycheck to paycheck, and this is a huge setback. We are going through one of the hardest things any parents could have to deal with, and if you can spare even $5 to relieve some of our stresses we would be forever thankful. Thank you so much for the read. Even more than money we need every single prayer, positive vibration, and healing thought that everyone reading this can send
