I cannot state how much I hate having to start another Gofundme, but it's absolutely unavoidable. I had a pipe burst under my sink and the first plumber couldn't help with it (I still had to pay a call-out fee, however!), so I've had to call out another plumber. The estimated cost of fixing the leak is £350. The cost of fixing the floor (which has crumbled) and replacing the linoleum is £700-1250. I just paid a month's tuition for my training programme and I absolutely cannot afford this. My insurance company will cover *some* of it, but I will have to pay up front and be reimbursed. This is absolutely terrifying. While it isn't the worst thing that could happen right before Christmas, it's still pretty bad. I really need help, and I'm afraid that my house will endure more structural damage than it has already. I'm going to aim for the higher end of the scale, just in case they uncover more problems, and also to cover the cost of an electrician to inspect the sockets for water damage.
