Send Jake to College

I have always been a dreamer, and a big one at that. Having this quality has made me more willing to stand up for myself. 

Today, I have a big dream. 

Going to college has always been a next step for me. A lot of actors and musicians don't go to college; however, that just does not work for me. I am yearning for the training I will receive. Also, I aspire to become a professor of Theatre Arts one day, which is a dream that can only be fulfilled by a few colleges. I have chosen one of them (and frankly, I have chosen the best one). 

Emerson is a well-rounded institution that focuses on creating a versatile, industry-ready performer. The next four years of my life will be filled with rigorous training and non-stop productions performed on some of the most beautiful stages in the entire world. The Paramount Stage was one of the deciding factors for me. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. Emerson is also known for producing hard-working and successful alumni that create careers months after graduating. 

I am a BFA Theatre Education and Performance major. This means that I would have my teaching license and four-years worth of artistic guidance by the end of my senior year. 

Now, this is where I need your help.

Unfortunately, our financial plan fell-through at the last second. As of now, I can not afford to go to college. This is incredibly heart-breaking to me, but I am not giving up so easily.

I am asking for your support in order to make my dream a reality. I can not do this without your support.
