Hi, I’m reaching out because I’ve hit a rough patch and need some help covering basic expenses while I look for steady work.

I lost my job in April and have been actively searching since, but it’s been tough finding something that fits both my skill set and income needs. In the meantime, I’ve been doing DoorDash to stay afloat — until my car brakes gave out. Now I’m stuck with repairs I can’t afford and bills piling up fast.

I’m receiving some unemployment, but it’s not enough. Between my mortgage, utilities, car payment, vet bills, and groceries, things are falling behind. I’ve also been dealing with some pretty heavy depression that’s made it harder to keep pushing.

I’m doing everything I can — applying for jobs, working with Career Services, even launching my own small business (Whimzy Theatre Projects — www.whimzyproject.org) — but I need a little support to get through this moment.
