My sister, Natalie Cooper was hit by a drunk driver going 80mph. She was pinned between the door and her steering wheel and was pulled out her vehicle unconscious. She woke up in the Ogden hospital. She was examined and then transferred to the U of U hospital where she had surgery to fix her pelvic bone. She broke it in 4 different places and has 3 huge screws. She spent 3 days in the hospital. She was discharged and is now on bed rest for 2 months. She can only move to use the restroom and can only put enough pressure on her right leg to get from her bed to her wheelchair. Once her two months of bed rest is up, she'll go back to check on the healing of her pelvic bone. Depending on how well it has healed, she'll then start her physical therapy to learn to walk again. She can't work and has recently moved into her own apartment in Ogden, Utah. We're starting this gofundme to help raise money for all the medical bills, rent, etc. She deserves to be able to heal correctly without the stress of money on top of it.
