When reaching out to friends and family about Mum passing away a number of people asked where they could send a donation to.

So, as Mum didn’t want a formal funeral service and wouldn’t want lots of money spent on flowers.. as an alternative to flowers or if you’d like to make a donation here is a place you can do so.

Depending on the amount we raise, we were hoping to split it between the local Kent oncology centre.. as she would constantly say how impressed she was with the NHS throughout her illness.

But also a cause very close to her heart, that she has fund raised for and supported monthly for many years is.. Koycegiz Dogs sanctuary in Turkey. It’s a lovely place with people who work so hard to save, house and rehome dogs in very difficult circumstances. In fact the day after she died, they messaged her on Facebook to say the latest dog she sponsored ‘Nero’ (picture above) was now settled in a loving home in Germany!
