We are wishing for your generosity and consideration in a donation and support of the 2017 Championship Season of our Track & Field Team. In 2015 we advanced 32 athletes to the USATF National Junior Olympics, which were held at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville Florida, Last year we advanced 37 athletes to Nationals which was held at Sacramento State, in Sacramento, California. With the help from generous donors like you, all advancing athletes were able to attend. This year, we looking to mirror that success by doing it again. Our 2017 team will compete in two overnight trips. The Region 2 Outdoor Youth championships, Suny College of Brockport, Brockport, NY 7/7-7/9/2017 and The USATF Outdoor Youth Championships, Lawrence Kanas, 7/24-7/30/2017.Englewood Jr. Track & Field community based team has coached thousands of youths ranging in ages 7-16 since1985. The team has advance to the USATF Junior National Olympics consecutively for the past 10 years, however due to the lack of funding, these young athletes have not always had the opportunity to attend. An invitation nationally to represent your state, region, and community is a major deal for these young athletes. This is where some the most visible youth athletes who themselves participate in development programs, get a chance to display their natural talents. Many past Olympians themselves began their careers and have competed in the USATF Nationals as youths. If you have questions, please contact Head Coach Cherie Ware-Powell [email redacted].Your support in this endeavor is greatly appreciated. Englewood Jr. Raiders Track & Field Team and its families thank you in advance for your contributions. Your support will help us keep our proud tradition thriving by assuring our athletes can complete. Thank you for helping our children achieve greatness!
