The big rebuild started back in 2022 and has continued with two more of our large aviaries being rebuilt in 2024. There is still a lot of work to be done with many of the aviaries beyond repair and need to be knocked down and rebuilt. For this work to continue we need your help, with the cost of materials sky rocketing over recent years we cannot do it alone. We have set a modest target to kickstart this massive project that we hope will rebuild 2 or 3 larger aviaries.

We have now started the big build by firstly demolishing a bank of six aviaries and preparing the area to start the rebuild. Although we had a great response with donations at the beginning we now need all those bird lovers for there support even if you only share this story to encourage more people to help. The magnificent birds that we look after (see pictures) desperately need new enclosures to keep them safe and healthy.
