My name is Brett Wyatt. In 2008, at the age of 18, I experienced a motorbike accident that resulted in damage to my spinal cord at the C4/5 vertebrae, leaving me reliant on a wheelchair with limited use of my arms and hands. I am currently working towards regaining my driver's license, a goal I once thought unattainable. Achieving this would significantly enhance my sense of independence and freedom. I operate a droning business that allows me to explore the countryside, and once I complete the disability license process, I will seek financial assistance to realize this aspiration. Despite my long-term savings efforts, the ongoing cost of living crisis and my limited disability pension have made it difficult to reach my target, and I feel a sense of urgency. Any contributions towards this dream would be immensely appreciated, as I will need a new van to facilitate my driving from a wheelchair. The NDIS will cover the necessary modifications, amounting to $150,000, once I acquire the van. I would be profoundly grateful for any support you can provide to help make this dream a reality.
