Help Me Get My Stuff Back
Donation protected
Recently, I was able to finally move back to Colorado to live with my partner, although I had to leave a majority of my belongings with my ex-roommates and longtime friends after an eviction in Louisiana. Previously, I was taken in by another friend and former roommate and his parents in Michigan until I could save enough money to pay them and my ex-roommates back and afford to move to Colorado. Towards the end of my time in Michigan, I was informed that my friend's sister would have to move back in with them, as well, which, for me, meant being the sixth person in a three-bed, two-bath, or taking what little money I had made in Michigan and using it to move to Colorado ahead of time. My friend's parents insisted I not worry about paying them back for their kindness, so I rushed over to Colorado with only a couple hundred dollars that I quickly burned through with flight tickets, a ride home, and some groceries.
My ex-roommates heard about my sudden move and asked me for my new address for 'some mail from the doctor's office' they had been getting. While I still have yet to receive what they had mentioned, I soon received two copies of the notice attached, with no prior warning or mention of any of what was happening in the DMs or servers we still share. Before I had moved from their house, I repeatedly told them I would contact them again when I had enough money for both basic necessities and shipping costs, and I even took up the offer from my friend's parents to pick up some of my things when they traveled down to Louisiana. However, after being unable to find a job or my own source of income, I am running out of options resulting in me actually getting anything more than what I already have back from them. The list of boxes they've already sent me the weights and dimensions of adds up to 274, with each box totaling 35, 98, 72, and 69, individually. I'll likely be setting up/updating this post with milestones each time I can get something shipped. Any help is deeply appreciated, whether it's the smallest donation or simply sharing this around. Thank you so much!
