Family Bike Ride: Beating Autism!!

We're a close family who loves to spend our free time together! We like to go to the beach, camp, laugh and just hang out. We like to play board games and cook together.
Our middle child, Tommi (20), has autism. She is a great joy in our lives, but has a few fears that make bike riding near impossible on her own, especially in Los Angeles. We'd really like to be able to add family bike rides to our time together. We are lucky enough to live where there are bike paths on the coast which would thrill Tommi - she absolutely loves the ocean!!! (She also loves playing dolls, playing catch & Disney movies)
We would like to be able to afford a pedicab, which is a bicycle with a carriage that is either towed behind or is in front. Tommi's fear of 'floating away' is solved by a covering or a seatbelt. A pedicab would be a perfect solution, but we need help raising the funds as it's quite expensive and out of our range.

Tommi has added so much to all of our lives and I believe we're a stronger, more cohesive family because of her. She deserves all of the happiness we can give to her.
