National Youth Leadership Forum: Medicine

Hi Family and Friends,

Alison was nominated by her science teacher, Mrs. Mohr, to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum(NYLF): Medicine this summer. Alison has a passion for the medical field and helping others. She is currently working on obtaining her Emergency Medical Technician certification while also attending Hope Christian Academy as a sophomore.

NYLF is a program through Envision's WorldStrides that helps students who are highly motivated to test-drive a career in medicine.

There are several college campus options to choose from, but Alison had chosen St. John's University in New York. In July, she will travel to the campus and stay with her peers onsite for nine days. Alison will attend classes, get a first-hand experience with medical procedures, practice suturing, perform neurological exams, etc. She is very excited to learn as much as she can!

All of this has a price, and although she has saved quite a bit of money, she is looking for help with her tuition and airfare. If you feel compelled to donate financially, it would be very appreciated!
