Early morning on September 5th I held my grandpa Ruben Garcia Lara’s hand and witnessed his transition as he took his last breath. His death came to us as a shock, he was diagnosed with an aggressive case of leukemia and three weeks later he ended his fight with cancer. He fought and pushed because he wanted to live and go back home to Mexico and travel with my grandma, Idolina. We are devastated that he won’t be able to do that and that we won’t get to experience his pranks, storytelling, and consejos. Please help our family raise the funds to celebrate my grandpa’s life and contribute to his transition. 


The money raised will be used for the ceremony and cremation of my grandpa, Ruben Garcia.
