IOBCWA mourns the passing of one of our founding officers and staunchest advocates, Jennifer Hilliard. It is hard to express how much Jennifer has contributed to our organization since 2019, when a small group of concerned Ingleside on the Bay neighbors started meeting to address petrochemical expansion that continues to threaten our quality of life. Little did we know then how relevant our work would be in the urgent fight to reduce global warming. Jennifer’s planning and architectural background, intelligence, work ethic, and wonderful personality made her a formidable member of our ground team.
