Christina Krause Family

On Sunday, October 30th, our good friend, Christina Krause, and her 17 year old daughter, Ella, experienced a tragedy that is simply unimaginable. Christina’s 19 year old daughter, Alexis, and ex husband, Mike, died in a tragic car accident. They were both killed instantly.

This not only left Christina with significant mourning and loss (which no parent should ever have to suffer through…) it also left her with a mound of unexpected expenses and additional responsibilities.

In addition, it left her youngest daughter, Ella, mourning the simultaneous loss of her father and older sister, who, in her words “was my best friend.”

This fund is a tool for each of us to show love and support to a dear and close friend. For those of you who know Christina well, you know she is the type of friend who would give you the shirt off her back if needed, and now is the time for each of us to come together and help in perhaps the only way (aside from sending love and prayers) that we can offer support and comfort.

While nothing we can do will overcome this loss, we can at least provide the finances to cover some of the unexpected (and significant) financial burden this has created.

That being said, the goal of this fund is to cover all of the costs of the funeral and burial costs (approx. $20K) as well as provide enough funds to pay for a portion of Ella’s upcoming college expenses.

Christina is such an amazing mom, sister, colleague, and friend to so many more people than she will ever realize. She is loved by many, and also can be a very private person, which means this fund is likely not something she would want us to be doing.

We’re doing it anyway ;).

Because of this, please share this with as many people as may be willing to help contribute, and also, please do so discreetly. This is meant to be a surprise to Christina and her family, and will be presented to them at Alexis’ funeral, which takes place this Friday, November 11th.

Because of this, time is of the essence.
