Dearest family and friends,
On Jan 31st I was struck with the news that my mom was mugged and assaulted. She was walking home after hanging out with friends in downtown L.A when someone struck her on the left side of her face. We had hoped that the only damage would be the trauma from the experience but unfortunately there was more damage done. The left side of her face has been shattered. Due to this unexpected incident, it has left my mother, who is self employed, financially unstable. She will have to have multiple surgeries that her insurance will not fully cover. If anyone can help, my family and I would be extremely grateful.
