Julie's journey

Hello, this gofundme is for Julie Harris Zerbst who has begun her fight against Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Julie went in a few weeks ago for just a routine check up. What started out as routine, ended up being 3 weeks of a whirlwind with many tests and doctors visits. Julie had a port placed Friday and begins chemo tomorrow, Monday 5/8/23. She is still waiting for results from her bone biopsy as a "suspicious spot" showed up on one of the scans.

Julie's treatment plan will be chemotherapy every week for 12 weeks then every 2 weeks for another 8 weeks. If the bone biopsy comes back positive it is more than likely the chemo regimen will change and radiation could be added.

Julie needs to focus on kicking cancer's ass, you can only imagine how overwhelming this is and financial burdens are something we can help her with.

Julie works but currently has no vacation, sick, short term or long term disability benefits. It is uncertain if she will be able to work once chemo starts depending on the side effects. She still has a son in high school who will graduate next year, he just turned 18 and child support has now ended. Financial donations will be a wonderful relief and help to Julie and her son.
