Support Amy's Fight Against Cancer

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to reach out and let you know that I’m fundraising to help a dear friend, Amy Dudley-Haggerty. Her cause is very important to me as cancer affects so many of our loved ones these days. I have known Amy since second grade when we were at Harrison Elementary School together, in Mrs. Skyles' 2nd grade class. We then went on to Marshall Middle School and then Craig High School together, all in Janesville, WI.

Amy was diagnosed our senior year of high school with a rare blood disease and lupus. Over the last 30+ years, she has encountered many health issues that have racked up a lot of medical bills.

To add to all this, Amy was diagnosed with colon cancer which has metastasized into her liver just days before Thanksgiving. Amy is not able to work at this time and is in the midst of losing her home. She will be on a 12-week chemo treatment to help her liver first, as you can’t live without it. After that, the doctor will go on to treat her colon. It is going to be a long and exhausting process for Amy.

As you probably already know, my friends are very important to me. Like many of you, I would do anything to help a friend in need. Would you be able to contribute to our fundraiser? A donation of any amount would truly help us reach our goal.
