My son Sebastian has been very sick since he was just a month old. He was born normally but as the time went by he started becoming more and more jaundice and ended up needing a liver biopsy at just 2 months! To see what was wrong with him, they didn't find anything. As time went by his belly was getting bigger and bigger and his liver was becoming more enlarged. We then took him last Wednesday to a scheduled surgery to buy him time from needing a liver transplant but they found out after the surgery that his liver was not functioning at all. He's been on life support since, due to his liver being so enlarged. The condition doesn't allow his lungs to fully expand, causing them to fill with liquid. He was care flighted to Stanford children's hospital and put on the top of the liver transplant list. Within a couple of days he was offered a liver but unfortunately Sebastian got pneumonia so they decide to give that liver to someone else. Today he was put on dialysis, we hope he gets better. A liver transplant will hopefully be done soon. Regardless, untill he gets better, we're here atleast 2 months. Being so far from home (Nevada) and broke, any help given would be greatly appreciated. Please help our baby boy.
