Brandon's Fight

As I sit here typing this, I still can't believe it. One of my best friends and very favorite people in the world has been diagnosed with cancer. Brandon is one of the funniest, nicest, most caring people I know. I was thinking about how I have never, in all the years I've known him, heard anyone say an unkind word about him. He is just an all-around nice guy. 

Recently, Brandon was blindsided by the news that he has cancer. Not only is it cancer, it is a very rare form of cancer, only affecting about 2 in 1,000,000 people per year. Peritoneal mesothelioma. 

Unfortunately, due to the rarity of this cancer, the family is having to fight the insurance company. Some of the treatment may end up not being covered. As we all know, medical costs are outrageous these days. 

We are starting this Go Fund Me page to help the family offset some of the costs associated with surgery, post surgery treatment and medical bills  associated with this whole journey.
